More girls in the boyscouts....
Just wondered is it possible for the boys to join the girlguides......?
Not that any would, but i don't know why the girls want to join the scouts either |
Oh... and no jokes about them wanting to enter the girlguides. :)

I remember joining the Scouts before moving onto Army cadets had some right laughs in both.Camping trips were class, the things/tricks we would get up too.One of the most enjoyable times growing up,and we did learn many useful things. :)

I enjoyed my time in the Scouts. We had a great time camping and learning all sorts of things to do. Good organisation.

My lads cub park had a few girls. And whereas my little girls rainbows (and the brownies above it) tend to be very girly, the boys tend to be a bit more boisterous and tend to "get out and about" - camping, wide games etc. I guess that if you want a more adventurous group at that age join the cubs.
Not sure about the scouts or guides though. |
I remember one time at camp we got caught with booze,we even snook the booze in aftershave bottles and drank it during the night in our 6 man tents.fooking cracking night.Anyway as punishment we went on a hike, was only told just a short 10 miles,we ended up hiking 35 miles and it was through fields with grass that towered us,plus it p1ssed down with rain,we were effing soaked by the time we got to camp.imagine a 6 man tent and each of us had soaking wet soggy socks, the damp smell was painfull, but at least we still had our aftershave bottles filled with whiskey and vodka.:D

I would join if I could. All that girly stuff is sh1te. Much prefer camping with the boys ;)

Sitting around the campfire singing ging gang goolly and you will never get to heaven on a girl guides knee was great stuff. Bob a job week was also a good laugh and all character building.

When I was in the brownies, it was sh1te tbh. Litter picking was the most adventurous it got :( But at that time, we girls we're allowed in the scouts.
By all accounts the guides sounded equally as crap, so it's no wonder if girls are allowed in the scouts, they go. I'm not sure many lads would want to join the brownies/guides, but I suppose if they did, it's only fair they should be allowed. |
I was bullied in the Scouts, hated it ..
When I say Bullied, I think I used to as an excuse not to go, but built up this memory of being beaten to stop myself feeling like a wimp :) |
