PSI3 data monitor

I have a my05 jdm sti are the data monitors a worthwhile add on, and if so is there anything I need to look for when buying one to make sure it is compatible with my car, also what sort of price should I expect to pay for a good one

thanks

Darren

Hi Darren, FYI they no longer make these, I heard they are good for what they are though............

I've got a MY05 JDM car. The PSI3 monitor doesn't work, though it's fine on my UK '99 car, doesn't recognise the ECU on the JDM.

Similarly, the OT-2 Innovate model doesn't work either (Ian at Litchfield Imports spent a while trying to get it work).

I think a reader that can understand the JOBD standard is the only way.
So far I've only seen error code readers available that understand the JOBD standard.

I don't think the Scantool would work either.

You can still buy them from Australia $1200 + Shipping.

Must be old stock as PSi3 the firm ceased trading about 2-3 years ago.
Got a link though, so I can have a nosey.

Excellent bit of kit. Works fine on my MY04 JDM STI, displays countless parameters in built warning too. Will also display fault codes and clears them too.

will have to keep my eyes peeled for one, is there any model number I need to look out for to ensure will work on my car,

Try and get the later VFD Display models. They are better visually in the daytime than older LCD units.

The DEFI gauge connectors also fit into the back and will give oil pressure/temp/coolant and you won't need the DEFI gauges (which are not cheap).

Top piece of kit and quite sort after but I have one :thumb:
