Is a 5 speed slave cylinder the same as a 6 speed's

As title, are these items the same? i have a 97 sti with a 2002 sti gearbox i'm using my cars original slave cylinder should i swap it for a 6 speed one

Cool that might explain my prob, the clutch feel's it could travel a bit more to work properly i never got one with the new box, cheers min

you have changed the clutch fork as well haven't you
