Well i must say aMASSIVE THANK YOU
To FB Tuning aka fiestaboy :thumb:
Had a new clutch and lightened flywheel fitted after Rich was able to get some unbelivably tight nut removals
He stuck in there when i am sure others would have lost it and belted feck out of them
Further he took time to look round the car and noticed a few things that needed work done even though he did not need or have to.
That is the sign of a good Conscientious person in my book.
Richard also explains things so you understand what is needed in easy ways.
Some pics of the day

http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...g/DSC01163.jpg

The old items its wet in there due to the amount of nut moving spray that was needed :D

http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...g/DSC01169.jpg

Now the new stuff

http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...g/DSC01177.jpg

Rich playing with the nuts :D
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...g/DSC01175.jpg
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...g/DSC01174.jpg

When Rich was looking round he found this
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...g/DSC01180.jpg

After a trip to SGT a new one was fitted
Also Rich noticed the tracking was not looking good
So he realigned the tracking with the addition of some adjustable camber bolts and 4 wheel laser alignment.
There he found that the last company who done this had done a "job" and i wont go back to them again.
Rich will be doing that and the other work for me from now on

Again attention to detail cleaning and copper slipping of the lining pegs and edge before the box was replaced
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...g/DSC01179.jpg
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...g/DSC01178.jpg

Other work Rich has carried out for me

http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...5102010478.jpg
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...5102010488.jpg
Again a very good job done
Rich thank you very much for your sterling efforts it was a longer day than we both expected but you stuck in there and was only satidfied when all the work including the unexpected retracking took longer due to the way it was left before
By the way it sticks like super glue now and has a more confidant feel to it
You have the info for the other work and look forward to you compleating it when you are able
Thanks a lot :luxhello::luxhello::luxhello:
Dave

martin850 10 April 2011 01:10 PM

Finally all is revealed :thumb:

Looks like Rich did another cracking job. :notworthy:

Need to pay him a visit myself to get my tracking done after the rear wheels took the beating getting rid of those alloy bolts.

a5h 10 April 2011 02:30 PM

Hi Ash
It is a lot lighter and i have been advised to go sit in traffic to help bed it in better  it requires pumping in :D
Had a bit of that last night coming back from P1 meet as the M25 was closed so the detour was nose to tail for an hour in back roads
Well pleased with it :thumb:

My one is rubbish, but it is one of the earlier ones that I got before the anti-judder version came out. :(

P1 Daveyboy 11 April 2011 10:27 AM

Let me know when and we could go across as a oner rather than Rich trekking backwards and forwards to the alignment place - I fitted my ALK yesterday so I'm all set:D

1 degree toe-in all around
1.75 degrees front camber
1.5 degrees rear camber

Or should I go for more camber:norty:
