Not to many around in a scoob getting anything like that!

mike h 04 April 2011 07:01 PM

Local driving?
I drive 2 miles to work, and 2 miles home (funny that!), and with the odd trip to my mams, nipping over to tesco, waiting at the traffic lights etc I'm getting between 17~20 mpg.

Whats it like on a long drive?

Poor engine:eek: your not even giving it time to warm up. No wonder your only getting 17~20 MPG.

mike h 04 April 2011 07:20 PM

Exactly my point, when i drive further i get better mpg.

duckdo 04 April 2011 07:43 PM

never been on a long drive mate had the car 2 half years and only done 1200 miles init sofar

mervil 04 April 2011 08:09 PM

With the mods you should get it remapped, otherwise the ecu will be trying to compensate for more fuel and more air without having the settings adjusted so therefore possibly overfuelling!

duckdo 04 April 2011 08:29 PM

i do plan on getting a remap but the rainy day fund is looking poor so b a few weeks till i get it done thanks for all the advice guys
