Is this the reason why Women want SUVs - so if they do come head to head with a HGV they'll feel 'safer' ? ;) (even though a HGV will still oblitterate a SUV, especially ones with a car chassis like Freelanders etc.)

How the heck did she get that far in the first place - Going all the way round the wrong way of a slip road. Bonkers!

What makes it worse, is instead of slamming on the brakes and pulling onto the verge (she had plenty of distance to do so), she carrys on and swerves round the truck in the left lane at the last minute (which is braking pretty hard already and was almost stationary) into the path of the other truck. :cuckoo:

You really have to wonder how these people survive long enough to obtain a driving license!

Something worse happened on the M8 a few years ago... some old guy actually got onto the wrong side of the motorway IIRC, ended up being a multivehicle accident with quite a few people killed I think.

Shows some seriously bad judgement anyway. Why people don't just stop if they are unsure in cases like this is hard to fathom... it's crazy!
