Noise on start up
 

This only seems to make noise if i do a few short journeys say to the shop then to a garage 5 mins down the road then home again. long journeys this noise never occurs, its when i start her up, it sounds like the starter motor, but it sounds nasty, any suggestions, i will try and make a recording but its only now and then it does it like i say on short start stops.

its a Classic non turbo AWD sport X reg

car runs a treat but i just dont want this to be the start of something big, it almost sounds like a women ramming it into reverse, you know what noise where it grinds and cries save me from this!!!!

might be the starter motor jamming?

when i bought it, it letrally just had a new starter motor, probs 2 months before, is it anything to look out for, should i worry or?

If you can, try and get it on video and post it up so we can hear it.

I've had a brand new starter motor go in 2 weeks,although it was on a van I think theres alot of cheap crap out there

I will try and get a recording but its very hit and miss, thanks guys
