Kindle Users, book suggestions ?

Need a new book, we have a house full of them as the wife still reads paper books but I have this strange compulsion to not read paper ones as have to justify the £200 investment in the Kindle and cover, so have a load of paper books to go at but want a kindle one, so any suggestions of good books available for Kindle ?

Anone else feel guilty reading normal books now ?

Wife wont entertain a Kindle, she read the last Ken Follet on it and didnt really like it, the Kindle or the Ken Follet.

Might give that a go, read "Under the Dome" and that was pretty good.

Will take a look on the Gutenberg, started War and Peace but my attention span is limited :D

Not sure how up to date kindle is, but I'm just finishing M K Hume's new book, Prophecy, clash of kings, quite a good story and begining of a series of books around the time of Merlin and King Arthur. No fantacy wizard stuff as yet and a hell of a good story.

Depends on your reading taste really?

But for fiction, I'm just catching up on all the Andy McNab books I missed (the Nick Stone series).

On the factual side, I've got "A brief history of time" again after god knows how many years and see if I can finish it this time :)

Recently read "Operation Mincemeat" following the TV programme, book is excellent. Also read recently "Dead Center" which is about the New York Medical Investigators Office, i.e. real life CSI. And just this morning downloaded "Vulcan 607" to read again.

Both my wife and I use Kindle apps, her on on her iPad, me on my Samsung Galaxy Tab. We took about three car boot loads of paperbacks/hardbacks to charity shops over the past couple of months and vowed never to go back to paper. Only paper books we have now are ones that are special/expensive/don't work on Kindle.

I read the sample of Stumped after looking down the humour section.

It wasn't what I was expecting. Have a read of the freebie then give me your opinion. I don't even know how to describe the book.

That looks suitably deviant, kind of a bit like "Filth" and,

"Jack (aka Jacko) Allen's boss at the tech company. He's currently trying to stop screwing all of his female employees in order to avoid a sexual harassment case."

Sounds good !

As does the Vulcan one, though I will assume every bit of it is about Les !
