I don't see a place for a capp in the picture?
I've seen bugs with capped radiators, so how will these not fit a bugeye?? They all have a header tank so whats the difference?

Even with a hawkeye conversion?

So do these rads have a rad cap fitting on top as my blobeye factory one does ?

Rice Rocket 19 March 2011 04:43 PM

Apparently the blobeyes and newcame with caps to make the filling and bubble free easier. If Subaru replaced a bugeye rad it came with a cap.

Matt Sills 19 March 2011 09:53 PM

Count me in for a classic rad. The classic rad is for the turbo models as on your website it says manual sports models ?

Blaster_1 20 March 2011 12:17 AM

So if these don’t have the rad cap on top of them does that mean I don’t need the overflow bottle on my standard rad either? :wonder:

rickya 20 March 2011 09:42 PM

Do you have any in a 42mm core for a blobeye? (centre water fitment with pressure cap)

As far as we're aware these don't have the rad cap on top, but you will still need the overflow bottle, as these are designed to fit as a direct replacement for the standard unit.

Unfortunately we don't have a 42mm core for your vehicle. Sorry for the inconvenience.
