my new daily runabout!!!!
 
so what do you guys think??, its a mk3 8 valve gti and its in mint nick considering its age, picked her up today, replaced to switch blanks and thats all ive done with it so far, got a little bit of a bump on rear corner but thats it.

dead chuffed with her.

Lol, i wish, its a version 1 sti wagon, but its got to hard to use daily, so just a sunday morning b road blaster now

I've had a few Golfs ... two MK1s, two MK2s and a MK3. My MK3 was a 16V but the same year as yours. They are a good solid car and it looks in great nick mate. Plus, tuning parts for them are so cheap if you consider going down that road :norty: !! 15" polished Ronals and get it slammed !!! :thumb:

Thats the first thing that i noticed, how cheap stuff is for them in the aftermarket, certainly when you compare it to the scoob aftermarket, front strut brace for a scoob around 120 quid, front strut brace for a golf 40 quid!!, although to be honest, i dont intend going the modding route with it engine wise, just going to concentrate on making it look good, like you say ronal turbos and get it bagged!! Will look cool as i reckon.

No they are defo not standard, not a fan of them if im honest, but trying to find a set of twin hellas is like rocking horse poo!! So they stay until i find some.
