Had the same scam yesterday. VERY hard sell. Let the bloke go through all of his armoury on the phone as I had a spare 15 mins. :D Then just said, no thanks. LOL

If it was Club La Costa then maybe not a scam, just a very hard sell (don't buy into it though what ever you do). I've been on one of their freebies and it was fine. I just had to attend the pressure sales pitch at one location here in the UK and then in Spain when on holiday. Keep saying 'no' and you'll be fine.

just like the ones you get in the US for cheap tickets /free park entry etc, spend a couple of hours listening to some B/S and they try to sign you up for a timeshare of something, just say NO No NO....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yg2u_De8j5o just in case.
