UK T2000 PPP, what to do next?
Owned my PPP UK Turbo 2000 since nov now, it's pretty much standard apart from a 4" ScoobySport back box and a PiperCross panel filter. It was dynoed last week at 240 brake.
Now what should be my next step? Is it worth trying to get more power, if so what are the next steps and costs. Or is it just worth keeping for the time being standard and any funds that would be spent on it just put towards a classic STI? Thanks |
a lot of money bud, list is endless, the more power u go the better clutch u need etc. ive done turbo injectors fuel pump apexi ecu de cat 3" etc got it mapped then clutch went, had clutch done since then blown to gearboxs now saving for silly little things i need to sort out, then a 6 speed so i can use my car with out worrying, ( until engine decides to let go )

What you can do very much depends on what year it is.

Bummer! That ecu isn't mappable, you'll need an aftermarket one to do any mods, and don't even THINK of doing mods without a remap: therein lies the road to ruin. Engine, AND bank balance:(
Have the brakes been done? That would be my next mod, then suspensionand alignment. |
yea Ive read the prodrive ECU is not map-able anyway. yea has the 293 4 pots. thinking more engine wise than anything else.

I have an s reg t2000 and the bloke at powerstation said mine has a map-able ecu but it has never been changed, so you never know take it to a specialist you could be lucky!! Im trying to save for remap now but its 550 boys and that is not cheep right now!
