I am trying to findd out the going rate for selling a bog standard MY00 Euro import which has done 15k miles.
Has any1 bought or sold one recently so that I can get some idea of the price on the current market.
If so how much you pay?

id say bog standard its probably worth around 12.5k ish to 13k ish private, not much in it now as uk and euro cars are going for only a few k difference. Just as long as the car has FSH your going to be ok ;)

I just paid 13,500 for a MY00 import from holland with full scoobysport exhaust + downpipe, 17" super T's and an ITG air filter, 22000 miles, FSH, private sale.

Not bad.

Neil.

bought mine 6 month ago, MY00 15,000m UK spec Belgium import for £16, seemed to pay a bit more cos it was Sonic Blue.

If it's a minter then you should advertise it at £13.5k ono and see what interest you get.

Pitch high and negotiate down, as required, based on the level of interest!

Just remind potential purchasers that similar but UK supplied cars will be up for £15k at the dealers.

PS. I eventually sold my Nov'99 car (via this bbs) for quite a bit less than that recently, but it was due its 30k service and had a couple of minor bumper scrapes.

Good luck!
