alcazar 23 February 2011 07:21 PM

To do what, precisely?

happydude303 23 February 2011 07:37 PM

well its ment to help with water corrosion lower enigne temps help lubrictae the wtaer pump and stop hot spots in the block i am quoting from demon tweaks or is this the same a the subaru conditioner as im having my water change and am wondering weather to use the aboev or the subaru conditioner

RobsyUK 23 February 2011 08:19 PM

i have used distilled water before as it is said to reduce scale in the system.

alcazar 23 February 2011 09:29 PM

Both a load of tosh. Just use a decent anti-freeze with an additive to stop corrosion and both jobs are good.

I was given some... couldn't say I noticed any improvement. Or detriment either to be fair.

Heard good things about it from people who use it on track. Not used it myself, rather just us deionised water and decent antifreeze

BlueBridge Subaru 23 February 2011 10:04 PM

we use it in rally cars but you wouldnt notice the difference in the scooby ,

this is what it does

it has a unique agent that lowers temperatures by reducing or eliminating bubbles or vapor barrier that form on hot metal surfaces , stops the water from boiling

Subaru Cooling System Conditioner is holts rad weld with a subaru label

happydude303 25 February 2011 06:37 PM

sounds like it might be worth it then seen as it only 13 pounds it cant do no harm

Midlife...... 25 February 2011 07:47 PM

Sticking any sort of soluble additive to water raises it's boiling point...........O level physics LOL
