Okey. They will be great =).

172sport 24 February 2011 06:07 PM

Nothing wrong with the std ones

goffemannen 24 February 2011 06:31 PM

Okey. But adjustable can be good on a lowered car. right?

I went for CDF ones on my Blob with alloy arms. Similar price to the OE ball jointed ones but do not knock or tramline as much under braking

goffemannen 25 February 2011 05:47 AM

Do CDF have ball jointed?? I cant find any on there webpage. The standard CDF as in the picture dosen't fit the classic with alloy arms.

I think you will find they do. I have just bought some of the CDF hard alloy droplinks (as in the pic) from their groupbuy and I can assure you the ones i Have are the same as those in the pics - and Yes I have the alloy front arms

I think the ones for the alloy arms have a smaller lower mounting hole but the steel arms have the holes the same size - contact CDF and ask them :thumb:

No they dont. A friend of mine bought the cdf ones and they look like this when mounted on the car. As you can see they don't fit so good.

Hmm don't like the look of that, what arb is that?
I can't see the droplinks causing that as they are just
A straight piece of metal with a hole in each end - the
Ball joint types are also a straight piece of metal worh
A fixed bolt at each end. They are essentially the same thing?

If you speak to CDF, they will discuss the part you need.
Did your friend speak to them before ordering?

it's a 22mm whiteline arb. The balljointed are as the name fortells jointed. The standard CDF or whiteline are not. And as you can see it has to be. For exampel the oem ones are jointed.

i don't know if he did. He probably thought that he could use the standard ones.

As said before you will have no issues running the std spec ones.

As said the standard front drop links are pretty good, I have the KLC139's fitted on my race RA and they are superb when compared to the previous whiteline rose jointed links which will not last on a road car.

goffemannen 27 February 2011 06:55 AM

Okej. we will se if i buy some KLC1399's or keeping the oem ones. Maybe buy new oem's.
