TOAD ALARM SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING!

Got a toad alarm on my sti import. Suddenly stopped working the other day. Pressed the fob, alarm de-activated and opened doors. Got in moved the car, got out and pressed again to lock and NOTHING! The fob lights up, and have even changed the battery and still nowt. The fob light comes on everytime but nothing is happening. Any ideas?

I heard that on some scoobys certain alarms can be effected by signals in the air - power lines etc.

Mine is having similar problems so I'm getting a new one fitted on wednesday, I was told possible damp in the brain may have caused it? but in my case I can't drive the car as I cant get the immobilser off :(

Are any of your guys fobs still flashing when you press the button?

had similar problems with my kobra alarm about a month ago. after a bit of head scratching looked up how to re-tune it to my car and was fine after that. not sure about your alarm but all i had to do was press and hold two buttons whilst standing beside the car, wait 5 seconds and then it opened first time.

my fob only has two buttons so must be different from yours. i stuck my alarm model into google and found a manual. just search for resynchronising and there should be a sequence
