Pete was talking about getting some rolling road figures for his WRX MY01. I wondered if hes got them yet?

Pete... Pete... Oh Pete.... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

have you had a chance to do it yet? If so how do the figures compare to a similar spec'd MK1 car?

Can you post the dyno's when you get them?

Cant wait to see the figures. Id like to see how much the exhaust strangles the standard car. Hopefully it will shut up some of the "WRX is so slow" critics http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif !!!!

Anyone else seen any figures of a "run-in" car or had them done yet?

Oh, and yes - i have a WRX myself http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Hi Jza

I was going to get it done this week, but Tony my telephone sales guy has contracted Shigles and will be off for at least 2 weeks. Which means I'm manning the phones and doing all the dispatch work.

The upshot of this is its difficult for me to get away for a afetrnoon at the moment.

I'll have some figures as soon as I can.

I have spoken to a dealer who rolling roaded a standard car. It barely had 1000 miles and I'll reveal his figures when I post up some results of/with the exhaust fitted http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

There is a Rolling Road day on the 14th April at Power Engineering. Come along with your car and compare it against some MY00/99.

Let me know if you want a space.

Jza,

Even if it is still standard bring it along as I would love to compare it to my standard MY00.

I have this horrible feeling my car is going to give the lowest readings on the day...

All of the above you were probable badgered, its driving that slow car of yours it numbs the senses, you want to swap your rev counter for a calendar M8 http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

CraigH 22 March 2001 11:31 AM

SJD - or is it CJ.......

Defi gauges look awesome. Ask anyone who's seen them. Especially those poor souls who wasted cash on the HKS tin foil ones.....

Saw your car the other day - looks good what you're having done.

Why the sawdust in the engine though? That an RA thing? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Those lightweight panels don't half dent easily too - sorry about that http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
