Intermittent stereo fault

My '52-plate Legacy 2.5 GX has an intermittent stereo fault. It's still got the original radio/CD unit, but the stereo only works (turns on) in about 50% of ignition starts.

Anyone seen this issue before? And is there a fix?

Sounds like wiring. Have someone check the connector behind it for a loose connection.

If not, it's in the set and cheaper to replace it.
