New rear shocks for classic
How hard a DIY job is this - I think its fairly simple but who's done it?
Plus, what do you reckon? I have 300bhp, stiffer ARB front and back, Castor / Anti lift kit at front and Castor bolts at the rear. Car may get occasional track use (have done 4 track days in 7 yrs), but 99% road. Standard shocks, after market brand, what do you reckon? I may get round to doing fronts before they need it but probably not with 1st baby due any day. Cheers |

Hi. If You running on standard springs then you'll need spring compressors to change the shocks. It is WELL easy job mate. If you're anywhere near to Bedford, let me know and I can give You a hand or even do it for You FREE of charge. I've got all the tools needed.
I've changed front and rear shocks on my V2 Sti, as above, I bought these from Camskill - NO ISSUES !!! |
it seems easy enought but the brake hose goes through the bracket, how can i separate this from the shock without disconnecting it from the caliper etc?
