Fob broken or alarm switched off?

I have just bought a 1995 subaru wagon, car only came with 1 key and 1 clifford fob (no paper work for clifford alarm) that dosent seem to work, the fob is cracked on the top left corner and the red light is broken! could this be why the fob is not working? where on the car could i find what model of clifford alarm is fitted?

check under the bonnet to see if there is a siren and/or bonnet switch, the alarm module will be in the car either dash or one of the seats if there is one on it!

under either seat, behind glove box, centre console, or stuffed up above pedals.behind clocks, under back seats it could be anywhere but u will know when u found it,

red led u say it could be a G4 series alarm so most likly a concept 300........big black metal box and a big blk plastic molex block with blk wires coming out of it, ion side a white plug with about 40 wires in it for everything else,
