How low can you go.

Hi i have a 2000 classic wagon turbo. I am looking to get some 17" or 18" rims probably 225/40/18 and would like to know how low i can make the ride height i.e.35mm lowering springs. Will they rub?

It is generally accepted that 215/35/18 tyres are the best bet for 18's on a classic... will tuck under the arches a little better and prevent scrubbing. I had 18's on my classic and just about got away with 35mm front / 25mm rear (rear sits lower anyway)

I have some Alloys for Sale that might fit the Bill for you,
Have a look and see what you think ;)

I have them for sale at £450, but really need the space back, feel free to make me an offer close to that or bid on E-Bay, might get a bargain, might go for more than that, a risk i will have to take.
