Mazda RX8.

152.7ft-lb torque - is that a mistake ?
250bhp sounds good but that torque figure is pretty weedy......looks good though http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

True.

But the step up from a 1.4 Bravo has to be taken very lightly ... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

I've always had a soft spot for the 'new shape' RX7, mainly as my uncle works in a training center for mazda and took me out for a spin in one a few years back. totally amazing car. Think that due to the rotarty design the engine was only a 1.3 or 1.4 http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif bit thirsty for oil though http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

I do like the new RX8, let's hope the torque thing is a typo.

Allegedly, this car will weigh in at £25K GBP.
Does your uncle know anything you're allowed to pass on about it?

Bajie,
dunno mate, I'll ask him when I see him. He's off on business trip at the moment, should be back in a few weeks.

Seem to recall he has something to do with press cars, so one would hope that when they come into UK one might be able to get a play in one http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
