Hawkeye STI clocks in Hawkeye WRX

Has anyone done the above?

I was interested in doing it if I could sorce some clocks, like the shift light and colour of the clocks.

I had a read here and looked like you had to do some modifications, but not sure if this is on a Hawkeye or not?

Read a few threads on here but most seem to be for Bugeye.

Any help appreciated...;)

old one out, new one in..

straight swap.

i'm going to do this to , when i find some clocks at the right price ... straight swap in the hawk eye ,some mods req'd on bug and blob....
only thing to watch for is the milage on the clocks as it's stored on the clocks and not on ecu.... if the milage is lower than yours , happy days but if it's higher i'm sure there's people out there that can change milage:thumb:

Will try and source some clocks and report how I get on.

Would be good if it is a straight swap on the Hawkeye, would save having to cut wires etc as some of the people in my original link had to do.

Having had a look at the wiring for the 2 models I do not think this will be a straight swap.

It seems as though connector A is a different size with different layout of the pins. Connectors B and C look the same with the same pin layout.

I am not sure what the arrows between the numbers mean, by that I mean where it says A1>A4 does that mean that there are wires in all of those 4 , or just A1 and A4.

Some people have taked of grounding wired in the blocks B and C but not block A.

All very confusing.

Any help from someone who has some knowledge would be appreciated.

OK well do update I managed to do this.

It was not a straight swap and had to do a bit of messing about but is done now.

Looks great I think and all the functions work, sweep on start up, shift light and buzzer.

Well happy.

Happy to help anyone else with this if needed.
