Imprexa 1999 - Main driving lights shine too low!
 

Just got a 1999 Impreza and am having difficulty driving at night as even though I have the beam height adjustment turned off (hightest setting) they still only light up to 30 yards in front.

Is this a common problem with this model?

Bulds are correct spec. Everything is clean they just shine too low!

Any thoughts would be very welcome.

So go out and adjust them?

Stand car 20 feet or so from a wall, put main beams on, adjust until they look right, check on a quiet, straight, flat road nearby.

Tools needed iirc 6mm allen key.

Oh, and don't expect mircacles: Impreza lights are shyte;)
