Which Pads??
Hi guys,
I need front pads for my '02 Impreza Wagon and I need them quick, I want to avoid halfords but to be honest I dont know where to start, I dont want some spongy milk bottle tops but at the same time I dont want some gold plated, tripple distilled super pad thats going to cost the earth. So suggestions please what about these? http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Su...f78e73e5a&BKPA or these? http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.p...0b0s2704p30315 |

thanks for the suggestion however I really just want some direct replacements for OE parts that I can either get on next day delivery or off the shelf.
|
I used those pagid blues from eurocarparts, they work fine for me as I don't do trackdays I have had no problems with them at all with my jdm sti

No probs, but why buy a performance car and fit crap brakes?

IMO Subaru put adequate brakes on the first time.
If your old pads were OE and you were fine with them then fair enough, but you might be suprised by the difference with a 'decent' pad. |

You won't find many people who'll agree with that (except PSLewis ;)).

Good pads that are available on next day delivery for a reasonable price. Why do I want them so quick? I've got a 400 mile round trip to do at the weekend and the brakes have just started to grind  |
i fitted lucas (made by girling i believe) in my 05 sti, cost about £60.00 & seem better than the originals..

That said I have no clue as to what brand they are, am I bothered? not really as long as they fit and work. I have to say Ian, I had a good look around on Google for Impreza brake pads but Godspeed didnt figure anywhere on any of the results I found would it be worth linking the parts with the appropriate OEM Part numbers as I only had Scoobynet and Camskill return results when I searched for the brake pad part number. Besides that the site was easy to use and good choice having the ability to pay via paypal for added peace of mind. :thumb: |
i think godspeed actually make or have those made specially for them, all they do is brakes anyway so assume they pretty good at it, going for the NDX blue myself, and discs, maybe some recon 4/2 pots.....or maybe the AP kit....lol

You don't need to change all the discs together , only change them when they need doing
Cheers Ian |
Pads have just arrived, excellent service Ian
Loads of packing which is comforting to see. Just gotta wait for the wife to get home to look after the littl'un so I can get out and fit them. |
