sti engine into a wrx turbo

hi people,
i have a my95 wrx jdm turbo a few weeks ago my bottom end went on it,
so i have been looking at my mates sti engine it is fully forged and recently rebuilt, would this go straight into my car i.e a basic switch over or is there more to it than this.is a 2.0ltr block not a 2.5,its just that mine runs on coil pack to each plug and i belive that the sti engine has the plug section in between the inlet manifold but i could be wrong.im just trying to get a idea of what i could put in there,my car is currently running with simtek ecu so i can have that remapped with (JGM),if i never went for that engine would any 2.0ltr engine fit into my car (sti) is what i mean any help would be much appriciated regards ben.

u best off getting a sti bottomend and put your heads on it and uprated injectors in ur manifold

why would it be better to buy a sti bottom end and use my head is it to save the hassle with the coil packs ect. but then again i could be wrong as his other sti has coil pack the same as mine.
