Best of luck with the sale Paul, whats the mileage on this nowadays

Anyhow good luck and all the best with your future plans and congrats again on the engagement

TYPE R BRAD 24 January 2011 03:32 AM

And best of luck getting 10k for it scot was struggling to get that with a car with 140k on the car but only 2.5k on the engine .

All the best Paul with this. Stick to your guns pal, i had a couple of genuine guys off here interested but haggling a fair bit. As soon as it went on piston heads the one guy that rang on day one of ad is the guy who wired me a deposit without even seeing it and paid the full amount of £10600, and is as happy as a dog with two dicks!
Hi Steve how you doing pal?

stevie1982 24 January 2011 02:49 PM

Hi scott yeah i am all good, what you going to do now, other then cry yourself to sleep regretting what you have just done lol, you got anything lined up?

fixup1982 24 January 2011 07:31 PM

Hey Stevie,

Thanks for your wishes the pistonheads ad clearly says the mileage of the cars chassis embedded within the ad so it is no way mis-leading i think :wonder: they call it marketing.

Your advert was a good one mate so no need to change a lot to be fair after all it attracted me.

I,ve only covered just over 3k in a year and i think giving the fact of all the work that i,ve had put into the car the price tag is a more than fair reflection.

Someone will in fact get a bargin as there is all the time and effort and research that goes into some like the suspension and brakes which the new owner will not have to think about. ( If i added the price i paid for the car + what i have spent the figure would be a lot more)

I will take some more pictures as the weekend fella however the car has not changed astheiclly since i purchased it from you stevie. ( If it bothers you that your house is in the background i,ll have them removed v.soon)

Although mine and scott's (old car now) did have similar power they are infact 2 very different cars for example there is over 1k worth of defi's ect ect... i could go on but i think the ad speak volumes for itself.

I,ve already had 3 calls and countless e-mail's so as scotts says i,m in no rush to sell and my impreza will find the right buyer.

Thank you also scott for your kind comments its a real shame you had to sell fella i wish i did'nt have to but as you know needs must. :thumb:

***I would appreciate if you would remove the pictures of my house of your advert and take some new ones . Cheers ***

Ayup fella, how is sale going?
Have you got it for sale elsewhere, apart from on here and pistonheads?
Anyone seriously hanging over it?
Think its well worth the money bud to the right person:thumb:
Keep plugging it mate and good luck.

Bttt.

fixup1982 07 February 2011 08:21 PM

Hello scott,

You on the hunt again already :norty: i,ve had a few phone calls but no viewings as yet. But as with your old classic the first person that views and has a test drive will defo buy.

Amazing car and the fastest and best handling car i,ve ever been in / owned. I,ve just placed a classified ad on ebay as thats where i originally noticed it.

I spent 4.5 hours on sunday cleaning her so she is gleaming :D kinda makes me not wanna sell up but needs must i wanna get my foot on that property ladder.

Was the green machine too much for you then?

fixup1982 08 February 2011 08:53 PM

Or remove all the said photos and get your nice new ones up!!!

As per PM I have done what you asked, if you or anyone else thinks this is silly then fair enough but we do live in a rocky world but any dodegy people keeping an eye out for a good car to joy ride or similar who may possibly recognize the area might and I say lightly 'might' and I agree it's a slim chance but come to my 62yr old widowed mother house and cause more issues then she needs and after all we/she has been through, its not needed and im stupidly over protective nowadas but

Paul please can you remove the pictures of my house from this ad, eBay, pistonheads and another sites or forums you have the car up on. I have done what you asked so please can you return the favour

Cheers pal

And as you say i am sure the 1st person to view will buy as it is a beast of a machine

Good luck with the sale
