Scanguage fault code P0244!!

Just thought i'd give it a tickle on the local bypass and got towards the end of 5th gear and saw the ignition light come up on the dash. Got home and the Scanguage computer has given me a fault code of P0244?? I've cleared the code but i don't have a clue what it means? Help would be much appreciated.

Turbo Wategate solenoid "A" range/performance.

what mods are you running, or have you recently decatted the car & not mapped it as it sounds like boost spike

Not wise to post about doing that sort of thing on public roads on an open internet site, guy ;)

Certainly not having a dig mate, we all like to have a play when the time is right, but i would think very carefully if you want to keep this thread alive. I'd delete this one and start a new one just asking what the code means without the title as the police can, and do, use internet based evidence and admissions of wrongdoing to get convictions

Normally associated with overboost in the 2.5's accelerating hard, gear change, hard and so on. If you've had it mapped and you intend repeating the exercise you need the wastegate table tweaked.:)

It's going in soon for a health check and might as well re map it whilst it's in there hey? lol
