Hi there depends on BHP for which you are looking and obviously on budget.

Your turbo choice should be made on your power intentions, once you decide how much power you want then go looking for different variants.

Yep, without a power goal (and possibly budget too), it's a non-question.

For 400bhp SC40 for budget turbo, SC40 money no object.
For 450+ SC46 for budget turbo, SC46 money no object.

what figures have you been getting out of the sc40 on the 2.0 martyn?

RA Dunk 17 January 2011 12:33 PM

Mark at Lateral Performance is away to release a new 'breed' of the MD series turbo's soon, very soon!

There will be a 400BHP turbo an updated version of the MD321H and a 450 BHP turbo an updated version of the MD321T.

Be interesting to see how this new breed of 321s compares to the Billet SC40 and SC46, respectfully...

Mapped a stock engined STi8 on Friday with one fitted.
That one made 411bhp and 375lbft on VPower with the usual bolt ons.
Suspect there is a fair bit more in it at higher boost, but there was no need to push it on this one as the target figure was 400bhp.
