Run Forest, Run!
Ladies and Gents,
Over the last few years I've made a contribution to various charities through marathons, santa dashes and adventure races (over £10k). And now I'm stuck. I'm stuck between family life, training and raising money for charity. NSR is a massive power, usually for speaking a slightly right-wing mind. What I need from you all now is direction. Where do I go from here race wise? I'm beingn dragged towards coast to coast but need another team member (and team sponsorship). I've a few on the cards but need a team: 1. Drambuie Challenge 2. Coast to Coast 3. Other: Suggest in you post (but I'm not quite up to marathon de sables) |
Coast to coast?, you mean Land's end to John O Groats?
|
I give IT help to a chap that before turning up at my house at 9am has already biked 12 miles and watched the sun come up. I tudge to the door having just woken up.
He is gearing up for an Iron Man competition in the summer - makes me sweat just listening to what he has to do. What is coast to coast? What RA Dunk says? That would be quite an achievement |
If you do the Coast to Coast and come up our way, you will have to call in for a cuppa.
Coast to Coast crossses the track just up from our house :) |
Drambuie challenge? Go for an Absynthe challenge ;)
|
friends do the Karrimoor Mountain Marathon and the three peaks challange
|
Complete the following steps.
1/ Fly to Sharm El Sheik 2/ get yourself into a hotel (any will do) 3/ Find some russians (this will not be difficult) 4/ Start playing "russian roulette". For reference, Russian roulette is an extreme sport I invented when i was out there. It is the art of pulling an attractive russian laydee who is blatantly the wife and/or girlfriend of a russian gangster. For 'Extreme' edition, try pulling the daughter of a russian gangster. Dangerous, but exciting! 5/ Play as many rounds as you dare. If you return home with all your bits attached, you win! HTH, astraboy. |
Depends on what you want to do. Others can suggest, but only you can do it.
Personally I have an inch to someday do the Lakeland 50 and 100, but thats probably not your think as a triathelete type bloke. |
