Heat shield on the exhaust manifold rattling!
 

The heat shield on my headers are bloody rattling! Anybody else had this problem?
Can i just whip them off?:)

yes, and yes u can remove them as i have but they are there for a reason so if you do remove them it would be good idea to heat wrap the manifold as there is a wire loom in very near proximity to the manifold which could melt due to heat from the manifold.

In this part of the world ditching the heat shields isnt a problem, hacked my ones off years ago, no issues.. SS

Yep straight off, bin them, and wrap. Job done.

i just ordered wrap today mine sounds like a right bag oh sh1te:lol1:

Tell you what, get them ported whilst you at it. Good gains.
