z4-z5 differences
Just tried to do a search on a z5 ecu for an early classic but to no luck as the search bar says its to short of a word! are these any better than a z4? and what would they have been fitted to standard?
i up the creek without a paddle at the mo as my apexi power fc is broke so been sent away to hopefully be fixed but in the mean time ive fitted my orignal ecu which sends my afr crazy when on boost (only using 0.9) had it checked and confirmend that its making it run lean so unless my apexi can be fixed i need to get another ecu but cant afford to shell out on another standalone:cry: so trying to look around and see whats avalable. iam abit worried about buying a chipped ecu as i never really know what your fitting. |
Z4 - 1995/1996 WRX SAME AS SC- 12.7PSI (0.9BAR), DROPPING TO 11.7PSI (0.8BAR) @ 6600RPM
- FUEL CUT 15.65PSI (1.08BAR) - 260PS (256 BHP) 7250RPM Z5 - 1995/1996 WRX-RA - 12.57PSI The Z5 has a higher rev limit apparently and is a more aggressive map, Or so I'm told:thumb: |
ok thankyou this helps abit

Z4 - 1995/1996 WRX
12.7PSI (0.9BAR), DROPPING TO 11.7PSI (0.8BAR) @ 6600RPM - FUEL CUT 15.65PSI (1.08BAR) - 260PS (256 BHP) REV LIMIT 7250RPM Z5 - 1995/1996 WRX-RA - SAME AS Z4- 12.7PSI- (0.9BAR)-260PS- (256 BHP) - REV LIMIT 7500 RPM Same as Z4 but holds it's peak of 0.9 to extended redline. Which on standard internals is to be observed. If you quote the search like this "Z5" then, not only will it do a search for you, but will give you more relevant results.:thumb: Like here, https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...fectively.html |
