Top radiator hose kink
 

Changed the top radiator hose with a genuine new one and it seems to have a slight kink in it when it is on the car. It is on the second bend from the radiator. Looks as if it is too long. I dont really want to cut it down.
Is this normal?

mine looks like it is squashed a bit but don't have any cooling issues with mine

I wouldn't worry so long as the jubilee clips are tight, check for leaks hot and cold, the diameter of the pipe will flow FAR more than the water pump can anyway.
