Remember all that kerfuffle (fantastic word :) a couple of months back, with someone advertising a car alarm that would page you, had a display to show you which part of the car was being broken into, would remote-start your car and all that malarkey?

Well, Innovations (of all people) are now selling that alarm for £199!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the Credex VTA pager system fitted to my MY02. There's two lights on it : green flashes when the alarm is going off, and red flashes when someones in the cabin : both alerts sound an audible alarm on the pager too. Great little device, and has a 2.2km range too which is handy.

I also have a pager fitted, the only downfall is the 3km radius.

I'm working on a wee electronics project just now to swap that for an old nokia phone to allow for text messaging via the alarm.
