DYK 05 January 2011 10:31 PM

Jamo 05 January 2011 10:32 PM

have to admit, I laughed my arse off when that bloke said he was considering ordering a Chinook to move him :D

prodriverules 05 January 2011 10:34 PM

I'd feel ashamed tbho,i know we can all get over weight and in some cases be carrying 3/4 stone to much but unless you have some disorder then there is no excuse for that:nono:

Ant 05 January 2011 10:40 PM

his crying fit was the highlight, just harpoon him have done with it

astraboy 05 January 2011 10:50 PM

what I don't get is that at some point, he must have become immobile, yet somehow his calorie intake must have remained the same. This can only mean that someone must have been bringing him food!

I've just read that he's relying on DSS carers, WTF are they doing?! it's not like he can go get it himself if they refuse to bring him another plate of chips is it? What's wrong with saying no and bringing him lettuce?

If he wants junk food, then give him salads until he can get out of bed and get it himself!

The Dogs B******s 05 January 2011 10:56 PM

He was a right porker.

Seems pretty reasonable! Some of the uberlarge ladies in the US have partners that want nothing more than to keep their girl big as it turns them on, hence frequent trips for pizzas! A form of cruelty really, even if they do want all that nosh.

BOB.T 05 January 2011 11:06 PM

I've come up with a plan to remove this deficit thing we have...stop paying for fat knackers... and for people to stop smoking. Eat and smoke all you like...and pay tax and die, everyone is a winner! :)

I think it has something to do with shocking his body by cutting too many calories. However I think I'd have more sympathy for him, as would most people if his diet was even slightly better.........

Donner, Chips, Chinese etc etc............

David Lock 05 January 2011 11:08 PM

The fuss about transport seemed way ott. Just carry him out and stick him in the back of a Police Transit with blue light?

thios man ^ speaks the truth

how the hell can he get fatter and fatter when he cant get up, does he have a hose plugged into his filling him with mayo and chocolate and a vat of coca cola above him with straws he can reach.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO i think not.

dpb 05 January 2011 11:14 PM

As far i can gather carer would get the sack if she gave him lettuce !

zip106 05 January 2011 11:14 PM

:wonder:

Anyone heard from Lewis lately?

tony de wonderful 06 January 2011 06:08 AM

There's a whole series of enables behind this guy from family to local authority and health care.

You might even consider the people feeding him to be abusers.

pimmo2000 06 January 2011 07:48 AM

This little guy ?

Stainy 06 January 2011 10:54 AM

What really boiled my p*ss was the amount we were paying to look after this fat cnut.

By all means, spend as much tax payers money as necessary on someone who has had the misfortune to have an accident or become ill, but why the chuff are we spending so much to look after someone who has self-inflicted his condition?:mad::mad:

In 2 minutes of watching, I saw, a house and all the associated bills, a winch, a special bed, a specially built wheelchair, a carer, several staff and specialist vehicles to move him. Specialist hospital equipment / staff / procedures.....He's been house bound for over ten years, so unless he's a lottery winner, I can't see him EARNING anything to pay for all this.

I'd have let the fcuker starve when he first stopped walking, he'd have soon been off his fat backside to go get his next burger!

dpb 06 January 2011 11:10 AM

If you were a concerned relative youd have sectioned him

This is the only possiblity

Wurzel 06 January 2011 11:16 AM

I saw a bit of it whilst flicking channels and he was blaming the authorities for not helping him when he started getting out of control. So basically it is not his fault he was like that.

:D

I didn't watch it myself

But I saw another one - this guy was also supposed to be Britain's fattest man, but he was nowhere near the size of that fat man.

This guy was Barry or something like that?
He went to his local Indian and ate the entire menu  followed by some ridiculous amount of pints of beer.

Yeah, saw that one. Think he had a season ticket at Stamford Bridge or Upton Park and seemed to revel in the 'celebrity status' that his size gave him. Also his idiot pal did very little to help, he just massaged his ego and accompanied him on his eating and drinking binges IIRC

J4CKO 06 January 2011 12:10 PM

Basically the body is a machine, it runs on fuel and can store some of the fuel when more is put in than is expended, like an almost infinitely expandable fuel tank, there is as far as I am aware no disorder that produces fat (energy) from simply breathing air, if that process was available it would be like perpetual motion or some glitch in the rules of physics. I know there are disorders where you dont feel full and some people eat for comfort but that is different.

Matey boy is fat because he ate too much and did too little, simple and I agree that he should not be fed high calorie food when incapacitated, basically he would lose weight if fed low calorie food to a point where he could get his carcass down the chippy.

I fluctuate and have to watch my weight but I hit a level I dont go beyond as it gets uncomfortable (clothes feel tight) and I actually dont want any more food, but any weight over is my fault, not anyone elses, not Inbrew for making Stella or Theo at the local Kebab shop for making excellent kebabs, mine !

Its sad to see someone like that, all the support they need, they arent happy and could die any second, usually the documentaries are in their memory and to be honest I think I would rather die than live like that, on oxygen, unable to move, trapped in my own lard, no quality of life at all and even if they lose the fat they end up like a deflated barrage baloon requiring loads of painful operations.

astraboy 06 January 2011 12:51 PM

I'm watching it now.
It wasn't until 27 minutes in and only when he got in hospital that he was put onto a 500 calorie a day milk based diet, with sugar free jellies.

At short while ago, her carer was shown cooking his food and saying "I give him whatever he likes"

At best she's incompetent. Complicit at worst.
astraboy.

P1Fanatic 06 January 2011 01:25 PM

I watched a little bit of last nights one near the end but Ive seen the US versions before. When they list what they eat per day 12 pork chops, 10 eggs, 2 pounds of chips, 3 litres of coke and thats just for dinner. How the feck do they pay for it or more accurately how do authorities keep coughing up for it if said person is not earning a bean?

Yeah but either the immobile fat person likes being like that and/or their 'carer' likes them being like that.

The fat person is helpless, dependent etc, like a baby.

There is some seriously dysfunctional/pathological dynamics going on.

markjmd 06 January 2011 06:31 PM

On a similar theme, this sad excuse for a human being is deliberately trying to become the fattest woman in the world (well on her way to it too, judging by the pictures :cuckoo:):
