Hellaflush? or Hell No
I have a friend whos into this "Hellaflush" idea where by stance is everything even if the car is unusable. he has sent me some videos mostly an american thing it seems to me. Theres cars like evo's subarus and skylines and the people have spent an absolute fortune then put the camber setso it looks like a tesco trolley found in a river just so the wheels go under.
I am i getting to old to understand this tuning style or does anyone else see what i see? heres a video he sent as example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgMYz...eature=related |
I'm almost Hellaflush, but it's 'cos my R888's were attacking my rear arches... so I just wound on a bit more -ve camber till they just missed...
:lol1: dunx |
Ridiculous, as is so much the Yanks do.
No wonder their cars won't go round corners. :D |
them cars just look like there suspension has totally collapsed. a little bit of camber's not that bad but my thinking of a car is that if it is not able to play around in and have fun anymore then its better off at the scrappy.

|
Stupid if unusable but those 8,5-9,5" wide Rotas look so good.

I love hella flush. Not ott though. Some amazing scoobs and the like with hella flush. Slot of them are on bag like my mates 335d is going to be. True men use coilovers and yes my scoob is getting some nice wheels and a bit of camber ;)

problem is alot of the people doing it over hear use it day to day and you can hear the scraping and grinding before it arrives with sparkes and tyres worn out on the insides and its usually a civic around my neck of the woods. Glad im with like minded people i dont think my opinion will change but for the pc brigade "each to thier own i suppose" :P haha
BTW stealth the rotas look amazing on there and car sits just right like it alot :D |

if you actually look at most of the vids and photos on the fatlace site, there are a lot of cars done to a quality that most of us can only dream of.the americans do know how to make a car look great but yes some do go to extremes.if in doubt search fatlace for the bugeye that was on there about 3 months ago, stunning absolutely stunning :) i actually like the hella flush movement and as said before each to their own.
it takes a lot to make a subaru fresh and individual :) |

if you have a look in the projects section, you will see where my car is at. I was offered tickets last minute and decided to attend then I got some cheap track time on the day Knowing the car was not in the best of health, but as a favour to Bockett and to give Phil sidc a few rare laps, I gave the car a run 2 laps in we noticed the brake discs were not great but the wheel bearings had gone hope you saw the first 2 laps fella, how were they?:thumb: |
he he:D

Your getting to old, just like a few old farts on here, you got to move with the times, and beside thats what you have adjustable coilovers for......slam it for shows, raise it for track
|
Its a hell yes from me, i love a nicely stanced scoob.
You can get the look without compramising the handlin (too much ;) ) |

Won't it fail an MOT if the rims are wider than the arches?:wonder: |
my friend did hellaflush for his lovely sti spec c, but he is struggling to drive his car since his car is too low to easily scratch under chassis.
