Anyone heard of Ken Block?

nice flying... there are some great skills and experience required to fly that thing because their speed is not an easy thing to control ..so it is amazing to watch an rc jet flying like that and that's awesome ...Thanks for sharing.

Yes how can you control something you can't even see

Brun 15 October 2012 12:11 PM

As cool as it is, i would get very bored, very fast!

Bit of a step up from the 2.5 cc glowplug things I used to fly (and regularly crash) on a control line in my younger day.

What is it with spammers on here at the moment?

Very impressive, both the performance of the model and also his ability to keep the machine close enough to retain control. I spent a few years doing R/C competition aerobatics and that was comparatively easy to keep under control.

Where do you get these small jet engines from?
Are they in kit form or are they made by these guys in their sheds?

I want one!

Although its not to fly, I just want one to run at full throttle in the back garden to pi$$ off the drug dealing scum that have moved in next door:D

You'll need to take up drug dealing or a similar high-markup career to afford one. Checked on a USA site and the engine's over $4K!

You can make much noise heat and flame retrofitting an old turbocharger though...
