VOB to AVI

Anyone recommend a free VOB to AVI convertor?

Found some old DVDs of home movies, but they were not finalised, so had to recover them using IsoBuster. I tried one convertor and it wouldn't recognise the vob file.

mkv2vob - good at converting to mpg..... maybe then you can convert that to AVI?

Thanks for the replies. Started with Handbrake and it seems to be working nicely. :)
