adjustable fpr set up
 

as above just got a sard adjustable fuel pressure regulator, was wondering what i else i will need to do it all braided etc?
sti prodrive 2002 bug
i.e fuel line size 8mm inside diameter? how much braided would i need roughly? and what about the anodised end fittins etc?

all and any help appreciated as wanted to order up the other stuff so its all here around same time.:D

Why do you need an adjustable Fpr? Ive seen many Sard FPR,s fail the diaphram inside perishes.

Hose quantity will depend on where you want to mount it.

it will be mounted to the right of inlet i would think, and i thought it would be a worthwhile upgrade as im running 340bhp, if there that bad well imay not fit it then but you would think for the money they are they would be at least half decent? there no cheaper than fuel lab or sx etc

Fair enough mate, you dont really need one, im running the OE reg on my bug and over 400bhp just fitted bigger injectors.

If i was going to go with an aftermarket reg it would be aeromotive or fuel lab mini. But you dont need one tbh.

there are a lot of fake sard FPR that leak and give problems , that look identicle to genuine sard FPR , the fake one's perish and leak fuel,

(wrx fifa) Grant, has just bought the FPR from me , and its definatly a genuine sard as i bought it direct from japan and has box instruction etc..

as for the pipes on mine i just used standrd 8mm fuel hose,

Carl Davey does a nice adapter, if you are still using the standard fuel rails (with the inbuilt FPR).

You could however,at the same time (and should consider it, at these power levels imho) go with a parallel fuel rail setup.

demon motorsport ltd set me up with 2m of braided an6 line, 6 straight an6 connectors and 4 90 degrees for 75 quid all good think they on ebay aswel not to sure lol :)
