Heads Up
Full lunar eclipse tomorrow about 7.40 am. Sky and moon to turn eerily red.
|
good luck with seeing that !
|
And 14 days later there will be a partial solar eclipse visible in the early morning.
|
With this weather I can't see further than the end of my drive, so an eclipse is out the window.
Shame really. |
I'll make a note.
Now watch it be the first overcast morning here for a week:( Full moon last night was bright enough to read by. |
If you live in the south, you should see the start, at about 6:40 am, and
the beginnings of totality shortly after 7am. Then the moon will have dropped below the horizon. If you live in the north, then you will see the whole of totality Mind you that's weather permitting of course... Experts say the colour of the moon will be an unknown at this stage Did anyone manage to see the Geminids on the 14th of this month? Fantastic clear sky's, with some stunning bright white fireballs left by these meteors. Mind you it was absolutely bloody freezing lol :), i managed half an hour before calling it a night :D:D Mart :D |
