what's the difference, straight or angled?

I'm going to be ordering a vortex Afterburner exhaust next week but don't understand which one to get, the straight exit or the angled exit?

Anyone have an idea!?

Is it the same fitting though, plus, are they hard to fit?

Same fitting on both, I like angled look, down to personal preference really

If it's just the back box easy as long as the old one comes off easy

pretty simple, the nuts may be a bit rusted and seized so have some WD40 and be patient lol.... Hardest part IMO is prizing the old exhaust off the rubbers, make sure you have a large screwdriver or prybar or something, along with something to spray them with to lube them up a bit (wd40 will do)

No difference in fitting for angled boxes - they just have a slightly different look up them, i prefer angled boxes which is what i have - but its just personal preference really!

Ahhh right cool :D Looks simple enough, if I have any trouble i'll just run it down to kwikfit for £20!

The angled exhaust has less bends so it is shorter in overall length, the less distance the exhaust gas has to travel the better the engine breathes which can make more power.

+1 I got one fitted a couple of months ago and i love it. its not as angled as you might think, its quite subtle.

Angled one looks better imho :norty:,and the one i chose ,also slightly better flowing than the straight exit due to lack of bends checkout link below :thumb: :

yep , angled the way forward but maybe buy the bolt and gasket kit from scoobyworld when you order the exhaust.

mines was easy to fit but i had to adjust the hangers a bit as it was very close to the bumper
