According to that article, LWFW increase torque and bhp. What do you think?

Reducing the inertia will always help, the engine revs more rapidly. The downside is that a road car may idle poorly, and mine is easier to stall if the revs are low...

P.S. Each 1 kg removed is equivalent to 10 kg of rotating mass, (inertia).

Only downsides are starting can take 2-3 times in cold weather, you can also get increase deceleration noise between 3800 and 2k revs allegedly because reduced harmonic dampening. Although people who have had LWFW fitted often have bush upgrades and other stiffer components which compound NVH.

Never stalled mine and it idles fine. :)

Not sure on bhp/torque claims but certainly what you do have will be quicker to achieve as the car will rev quicker, which I love :D some claim the flip side to quicker acceleration is quicker deceleration due to the lack of inertia. Not noticed any negatives with mine apart from the deceleration noise, which has become less apparent now run in, which makes me think it's partially the clutch choice aswell.:)

Great mod for the right car and driver. Not for everyone :)
