I have a desktop at home and have ISDN on it. I have networked my desktop and my laptop together. Can I use the ISDN card running through my desktop and access the internet with my laptop?? or do I have to get another ISDN card for my laptop.

What version of Windows are you running? Later version have a freebie built in called Internet Connection Sharing. Not the best piece of software by all accounts, but worth a look if you have a version of Windows with it.
If not, try http://www.download.com - should find one or two products that will do a similar job. |
Its Windows 2000 Chris, but I don't see this program on the system.

There's a bit about it in Start > Help and type Internet Connection Sharing in the Index tab.
Not brill but it covers how to enable it. http://www.microsoft.com/WINDOWS2000...onn_overvw.htm might be useful as well. |
Hi,
If you bring up the properties tab, on the dialup connection, they'll be a tab called "sharing". (Start -> Settings -> Network & Dialup connections -> <right_click_the_isdn_dun> -> Sharing tab..) Tin |
