450hp & more

BIG FUD 24 January 2011 10:06 PM

That 100% what trq plz ? m after 450-450 in my white hawk and seeing what i can do with this engine ...

KAS35RSTI 24 January 2011 10:13 PM

Stand to be corrected but I am sure i have seen results of 450/400+ with correct supporting mods. Banny is running over 500hp on his other 2.0l with meth.

TheDuke 24 January 2011 10:15 PM

Do these have forged pistons etc? I have a 2.5 2006 spec D with ppp and I think my piston lands are done. Will my heads fit and would it need a remap? Thanks.

KAS35RSTI 24 January 2011 10:17 PM

Ye you will need a remap as i believe this is a 2.0l STi short motor. Should fit straight on with correct gaskets etc

eggy790 24 January 2011 10:21 PM

if your hawk is uk.. 2.5 i dont think they are strong enough for 450/450.

this 2.0 jdm is probs the strongest of all newage engines which are known to take 450bhp with similar torque.

jgm himself is running 500 on his blob engine.

banny is running 523/420 on this exact engine in his car with standard v3 heads.

so i should think 450/450 should be fine on these.

BIG FUD 24 January 2011 10:25 PM

Mine is uk 2.5 eggy and u right 350-380 at a push is its limits im running 350-350 at the min so would like to bolt this on and fit turbo 450-450 ish sent banny email so we will see the outcome many thanks for all youre help...

eggy790 24 January 2011 10:27 PM

no worries fud, it will work with any heads, so your 2.5 heads will mate fine. could be a nice and cheap upgrade. :)

BIG FUD 24 January 2011 10:39 PM

banny sti 25 January 2011 07:20 PM

Unfortunately could not complete the deal with Fud, as his 2.5 heads will not mate with the 2 litre block as the combustion chambers are too large :(

BIG FUD 25 January 2011 09:09 PM

Gutted is the only word banny ..

banny sti 26 January 2011 08:13 AM
