Cutting out on stopping

Just had uprated clutch and lightened flywheel fitted on my 03 sti and it's cutting out when I come to a stop. Other than that is fine, idles a bit low, but just wondering if anyone knows what this might be and how to solve it?

try your maf mate. i could be an air flow thing. if you get some break cleaner, and take the maf off, and spray the maf. let it dry and replace it. see if that helps.
and maybe check your air hoses

Could also be idle control valve dirty...that sometimes needs a clean but remember to change seal with new and use sealant or you'll get all sorts of idle issues once opened.

Obviously if you have just fitted a lightweight flywheel the tickover is affected as you have less kinetic energy smoothing out the firing strokes. This is quite normal when fitting a lightweight flywheel and the slight adjustment to your idle control valve will rectify the situation. Either that or get your mapper to adjust the idle on your next remap but if the car is standard just simply adjust the idle control.

all sorted now by cleaning maf sensor, idle valve and adjusting revs.

cheers guys
