What's on your "bucket list"

Speaking to the wife the other night about our bucket lists, and most of the items were pretty much the same, main ones include

A sky dive
To fly a plane
White water rafting (she has done this but I haven't)
To climb about inside a pyramid.
To own a Ferrari even if it's just for one Summer.
To go under water in a cage with the sharks.

And quite a few more but you get the idea.

What's on your list?

JTaylor 07 December 2010 10:19 AM

Snort a line of Charlie from the head of a bald midget (preferably hermaphrodite) whilst receiving felatio from Cleo Rocos.

Swim with dolphins.

bigsinky 07 December 2010 10:33 AM

LMFAO!

Mine would be to take the controls and fly one of the two-seater Spitfires over Kent and the white cliffs of Dover...although i have to say your options look good too!;)

Yeah, but realistically?

How realistic do you want?

I suppose I could look forward to the better weather so I can enjoy my new motor bike, and some good sea trout fishing next Spring, as well as a good Christmas with all the family. Wouldn't say no to a go in 558 with all the irritating restrictions removed so I could use all the power and turn it upside down again.

A really good New Year present of course would be if "Dave" decided to keep the promise he made before the election and has so far avoided and that is the referendum over the Lisbon Treaty and whether to kick them into touch as well. With him and his creepy mates I realise that may not be too realistic.

The first ones not that hard. If you find your own midget then CR is well known for being up for it...

Keep your eyes open around Canary Wharf.

Ten years ago, my wife and I wrote down all the things we wanted to do.

I have her list and have ticked off about 3/4 of them for her.

She lost my list, none yet ticked.:(

Top of my list is finding out who makes these ridiculous words up, and why they do it :D

SiPie 07 December 2010 01:16 PM

See an independent Scotland

billythekid 07 December 2010 01:16 PM

1) Go to every F1 race in a single year.
2) Live in France
3) Go to Japan for a while.(couple of months)

All of this will have to be done in my later life unless I win the lottery!

SJ_Skyline 07 December 2010 01:49 PM

See an independent England :p

JTaylor 07 December 2010 02:08 PM

Cornwall?

Snazy 07 December 2010 04:31 PM

#1 for me right now is to get my freefall skydive licence in Florida next year. AAF is all planned, house booked etc, now to grow some balls.!

Thats about one of my only big ones. Other than that I want to take in some truely amazing natural sights.
Seeing a tornado in person and feeling the rage of the storm around it is another.

Swim with dolphins.

Mine is surprisingly similar (although no midgets involved ;)

1 - Snort a line from between the rather stunning breasts of a girl I ran into a couple of weeks back.

2 - Swim with orcas.

I suspect that whilst at least the first on my list is perhaps rather more achievable than the first on yours, given we have kept in touch, as with the second, it carries with it significantly more danger given current circumstances :D

Turbohot 07 December 2010 06:29 PM

LOL at the terminology "Bucket List" :D Well, I had never heard of it before.

My chilled wish list contains:

1. Cuddling tigers of the Tiger Temple in Thailand (not that chilled, I know :()
2. Having my own place on one of the Caribbean Islands of my choice. Ahhh.......... this one is super-chilled! :)

I hope to achieve these before I finally hit the bucket.

I'm not a hermaphrodite but if you can overlook this and pay good rates....

stevebt 07 December 2010 06:46 PM

I fancy doing some cave diving :)

corradoboy 07 December 2010 07:54 PM

Frankie Sandford, Mollie King, Jessica Alba, Keira Knightley, Olga Kurylenko, Audrey Tautou..... I could go on :D

Apart from those, the usual type of stuff for me. Cage dive with great whites, compete in WRC, drive an F1 car, tour New Zealand for a few months, then Canada, fly a jet fighter, travel Europe in an exotic GT car, and on the last day of my life I could suicide bomb Parliament.

dpb 07 December 2010 07:59 PM

1. Live to see a return to a SW wind direction :Suspiciou

madscoob 07 December 2010 08:02 PM

1 own a ar15
2 remove a few very irritating people from this planet before i go
3 drive a wrc scoob in a forest stage
4 see my kids grow up and get married
5 ride a r1
6 see the death penalty brought back in this country
all in no order of course

:D

Simon C 07 December 2010 08:33 PM

Never really thought about a must do list, but have a few things I'd like to do, and a few already done.

Done:
Learn to scuba dive

To do
Spend 2 weeks bowhunting in Montana /Colorado
Drive a Ferarri California or 599 gto
Do the Nurburgring
Win atleast 1 World or European archery title

Dingdongler 07 December 2010 09:41 PM

Surprised by some of the answers tbh. Jump out of a plane and drive around the ring or drive a Ferrari? All these can be done for £500-£1000 or less and a few days off work, what is stopping you???

Dingdongler 07 December 2010 09:49 PM

Something like this springs to mind though

Simon C 07 December 2010 09:52 PM

In my case, money and priorities, getting on the property ladder is more important at the moment for me. That and I've already been technically dead from 1 car crash in my life!

Nurburg should be happening next year though.

Having just seen your 2nd post Ding, I've already ticked that off :D
