downpipe advice 2002 bug sti

hi need some advice whether to keep my prodrive sports cat in the downpipe or go decat.

car is a 2002 sti and has the ppp.

my reason in asking is , im going to be getting a remap soon.
the car currently has a k and n panel filter and 2.5" straight centre mated to a afterburner vortex.

only cat on the car is the prodrive sports cat in the downpipe, so basically would it be worth my while removing the prodrive unit or keeping it on at the expense of a few bhp and saving the hassle of mot time and fitting a decat downpipe.

i know that even a sports cat will be a restriction to exhaust gas flow but i am willing to keep this if theres only going to be a 3 or 4 bhp sacrifice.

thanks for any help

Grant

Keep your sports cat, you lose virtually nothing having it on there to swapping it with a decat pipe except trouble when MOT time comes :(

The Bug VF series turbo's don't flow enough air to trouble the sportscat..........keep the sportscat and keep the MOT sweet :D

Keep it - I used to run at 400bhp with the PPP sports cat down pipe and an Afterburner Vortex

Mike Wood told me they are good for nearly 400 bhp...
