Top Gear Christmas Special
http://transmission.blogs.topgear.co...-more-details/
Hurrah! May have to switch it over from Dave temporarily for this. "The Three Wise Men Christmas Special will be on BBC2 on Boxing Day at 8pm. Not only that, Top Gear will be back with another new episode just five days before on Tuesday 21 December at 8pm on BBC2. And then the series proper begins early in the New Year." |
I believe they will be featuring the best car in the world ;)
|
A 12 year old special edition Impreza? What are the chances? ;)
|
Can't wait for that.
|
Fifth Gear FTW these days lads.;)
|
The Australian Top Gear did a Ashes special, where they came across and competed in challenges against our lot.
Not sure if it was just for Aus audiences or if it will be shown over here. ;) But its out there if you know where to look |
Good stuff :)

Vbh is now a brand ambassador for VW, and I've met her twice. Lovely person tbh!

Na, we are just more intelligent than our mainland couch potato counterparts and prefer to watch real car programming instead of a comedy act based around an ego tripped Jeremy Clarkson.

I think us mainlanders have just worked out that Top Gear is as much a car programme as Mock the Week is a news programme!

I'm amazed that compared to so many soaps/reality tv crap etc that there is still no real alternative to Top Gear.
5th Gear is ok.... only because of Tiff and Plato. Without them i wouldn't watch it. Wouldn''t take Sky much to come up with an alternative i'd have thought. IMO the best car related tv series is 'Wrecks to riches USA' |
Sky did try a Top Gear alternative is was Terrible, Va Va Vroom i think it was called. 5th Gear is getting better since it went to a half an hour show but it still have a bit too much filler to be a really good car programme.
I prefer American car programmes to be honest. |

5th Gear is almost unwatchable.
