You could always pay my insurance, ill give you the other 32 pounds and 2p if you want ;) or get a/c fitted ;) or if you want, have all the black skirts colour coded??? you could do that and a spoiler? hopefully having some left to spend down the pub on saturday night :D

mega_stream 09 April 2002 09:05 PM

Sell your 17's, use the money you get from that to put toward the 1k and get some 19's :D

Oh yeah, sweet :)

mega_stream 09 April 2002 09:17 PM

I'd get an original spoiler if you got a spare 1k not a copy...

Shark 09 April 2002 09:29 PM

David

Tal 09 April 2002 09:32 PM

yes

best places to buy these ??

john banks 09 April 2002 10:10 PM

Full exhaust (2nd hand £400?), Bumpsteer £100, discs/pads/lines/DOT 5.1 £300, (Dawes £35, HKS FCD £100, Ecutek Tek 1 £150) or (Ecutek Tek 2) would be on my list. Oh and a boost gauge and Dawes air fuel ratio meter.

This little lot would be in the range £1000-1500 and would be a nice balance of power, stopping and handling. Good tyres on your 16s looks uncool but works well.

fazack 09 April 2002 10:12 PM

Drive it to the Monacco Grand Prix - £1K should just about do it.

Tal 09 April 2002 10:20 PM

it'll cost a grand in fuel to go to monaco

russell hayward 09 April 2002 10:44 PM

do yourself a favour and spend some on some professional driving tuition

mutant_matt 09 April 2002 10:52 PM

Sounds to me like you need some decent handling to go with the extra power and brakes......

Bump Steer Mod (or did you say you already have that?)
Eibachs
Anti-Lift Kit
Geometry setup properly
Solid drop links with bushes
Uprated anti-roll bar mounting bushes (like Powerflex)

You should have a couple of hundered left over to spend on a track day.... ;):D:D (and a car which handles so much better which will allow you to exploit the power and brakes more ;):) )

Matt :)

john banks 09 April 2002 10:54 PM

Sorry m8, though the list up top were your ideas!

It's power and tuition all the way then!

I would think about a new turbo and see if Ecutek and do you a remap to suit it. Might be more like £1500 though.

WRXBOB 09 April 2002 11:06 PM

What about the handling?
No point in having a fast car if your gonna lose out on the twisty bits.
Go for Eibachs and full geometry set up (About £380 fitted)and at the same time have braided brake lines (an extra £80 fitted)and for an extra £20 stick in some proper brake fluid.
After these mods your car will feel miles better.

And then for better looks buy a nice rear spoiler, and you'll still have change to buy me a few pint's for suggesting such worthwhile mod's ;)

BOB :D
