Redline Tuning Basildon

Has anyone used these guys before, seeing as they are the most local tuners with a 4x4 rolling road.

Had a few looks on google for people experience and it seems a mixed bag of they aint got a clue to good.

Website looks abit "Max Power" or chavvy?

Never heard of them

classicgc8 28 November 2010 11:08 PM

is zen performance within reasonable distance?

same here and i would rather travel to a recommended specialist than take the chance with an unknown place.

Never heard of them but sometimes it's worth having a punt having something small done to see if they're any good. Can't be any worse than some of the would be specialists in Essex :thumb:

FB Tuning in Maidenhead is fully recommended and worth a phone call if you want timely no bull$hit Subaru advice :)

Recently had a full front subframe and handling upgrade at FB Tuning :notworthy

The website say they have a 4x4 rr. I have heard of them ... So so I think.

if your looking to go on rollers -i highly recommend http://www.hayesdynotech.co.uk/
I had my evo dyno'd there and found them to be very helpful and knowledgable.

I have used Redline in the past!!

I can custom remap your car and have access to a Dyno Dynamics dyno - Drop me a PM if I can be of assistance :)

I have heard a couple of bad things about them,
They are also known as bore wash tuning so i hear.

wesley1980 07 December 2010 10:06 AM

i have always used APT NORWICH as seen @ time attack

Essexdon 07 December 2010 12:17 PM

Think they are ok

wesley1980 07 December 2010 12:22 PM

it may be the distance but to get a good job you do have to travel and APT dyno is 100% spot on

T0M HV 07 December 2010 12:46 PM

They are ok,

we had a rolling road day feature there a couple of months ago.. guys were miserable and stuck up their own arse..

Essexdon 07 December 2010 05:19 PM

Loadd of tuners in se

impreza82 09 December 2011 09:34 PM

Popped down there in the end, great help comes recommended ;)

Matty81 21 July 2016 01:33 PM

Really ? Dynotech has some awful reviews

scout1982 22 July 2016 01:34 PM

Had a new rad fitted there a few months back. No real complaints about workmanship but they all seemed pretty disinterested in my car when I turned up to collect and any questions I had were met with a shrug of shoulders. Didn't really fill me with confidence so wont be going back there and next time I need work doing I will take it down to FB, as recommended by 53 (mainly because they have worked on his s202 and he has highly recommended them to me) :thumb:
